WHX?? 49,145 #1 Posted September 12, 2022 (edited) While the boys up in the north east were iut partying we were hard at it at another show. Last for the season. No steam this year tho. Guess the club had a falling out with the steam engine guys. Nice turn out tho despite the crappy weather Saturday afternoon. Sunday was a washout. We left our campers there to avoid rutting up the campgrounds. Go back and get them when things dry up. A few of what I got but should have been taking pics when the sun was out. Between @Achto and I we had 14 horses ther. Case was the feature but oddly very few Case GTs ther One benefit of being retired is getting there days ahead of everyone, getting set up, peace and quiet and giving my liver a rest before things get going. Sadly I didn't get as many as I should have. More of the Saturday nite band than tractors ... stay tuned!
squonk 41,310 #5 Posted September 12, 2022 Youse guys seem to have a thing about keeping your phone in your pockets and rainy shows. Didn't you have to leave the campers behind last year too? Great pics of what you took. A crappy day at a tractor show is better than listening to that debacle on XM yesterday!
ri702bill 8,482 #6 Posted September 12, 2022 Well done!! I do think that if @Pullstart Kevin were in charge of loading the trailer, there may have been at least two more on the deck....!!

Achto 27,747 #8 Posted September 12, 2022 (edited) I guess I did take a couple of pictures. The big kids getting ready to go for a ride in the barrel train. Up front is our favorite engineer @WHX?? who took us as far away from camp as possible and then promptly kicked us out so that some little kids could go for a ride. Maybe next time I'll wear a propeller hat so he doesn't notice that I'm a big kid hiding in the back of the train. WHX?? 49,145 #9 Posted September 12, 2022 That was actually the highlight of the show for me! I loaded that C-120 I'm on knowing it ran like crap and figuring we got bored we'd finger out why. It coughed under load and anything more tha 1/4 throttle. Changed out the condenser ... nope. Dan then nailed it with a bad coil. We went on a coil & beverage ice run to Fleet Farm and of course the rack the coils were to be on was empty. Swung into a NAPA and 40 clams later we had a coil. Turns out Dan that wasn't a bad price where I usually get them is up to 37. Threw it on and runs like a top & nice to get seat time on it & show it some more love. Finger out why it only charges when it feels like it maybe a new drive belt and @ebinmaines check list. 3
