Cee245 823 #1 Posted September 11, 2022 (edited) Picked this up today with a spare 42" SD. Runs nice and tranny is good too. Giving it my touches and will sit nicely next to my 416H. I forgot how much I like the 8 speed uni drive. The original looking boot is still in good shape! It seems this sat around a lot but looks to have been taken care of. needs tlc maintenance, but it's a nice tractor and I'm pretty happy everything that matters to me works good. Little noise on a bearing on the RD deck and it needs a patch in 2 spots and a thorough cleaning/ greasing treatment (like slippery pete sez) Even came with an axle bracket. peter lena 9,092 #2 Posted September 12, 2022 @Cee245 nice pick up on that ! aerosol lubricant spray down on all painted surfaces , let it sit for a day , rub it down with a clean soft cloth , bet that paint stage will pop right thru , with a lubricated shine . take advantage of what works and enhance it , especially electrical . replace that shift boot , when you drop the trans oil . might drop the carb bowl for debris , add a fuel filter . would personally love to detail the hell out of that , make every part of it . work like it should , would also lubrication wipe down down those engine tins , black / shinny . USE 303 VINYL CLEANER , on seat ,, trim pieces steering wheel . just saying what I would get after , good luck with it .pete 1
