Take your time and do it right, is the only way to do something. Whether you have the time to do it or not.

You can either do it right the first time or you can go back and fix it later so you might as well do it right the first time.

If you're looking for something to do, stop up and see me n Trina.

In case you hadn't figured it out already we've always got about 742 projects going on and that's just fine by us.

Absolutely excellent work on this one Sir. Just looks fantastic.

Excellent rebuild and restoration. 100 hours to do this sounds like a lot of hours but it's really not. So much work goes into all the little details that set apart a proper restoration from a rattlecan spraybomb job.

About the little details; are those plastic (teflon) bushes on that pivot point for the hood? And are those standard?

Look like split Nyliners - they will work, but are meant to be pressed/twisted into a hole - very flexable and they can "wiggle" - they are thin and usually need support from both sides....

Beautiful job! That thing looks brand new or nicer than brand new. What did you use for paint?

Rattle can regal red. The P/O did a great job on the paint, but it was an off shade of red. It had assembly scratches, as you can see in the picks. so, I just blended in the regal red paint. Thanks for the post.

Last time I bought these from a dealer they were hard to get. Maybe not now?

Thanks, KPINNC. Luckily the P/O did a good job. That help a lot on my end.

@Retired Wrencher I really appreciate your attention to detail, that’s what separates “It’s okay” to “Wow, that’s really nice!” My kinda guy! Great job!
