hcminis 1,557 #1 Posted September 6, 2022 Did a little Horse trading yesterday with a good friend. Was left in a covered fabric Harbor Freight awing type tent I guess you call it. Few items were robbed for the Cub Cadet the previous owner had. She is rough but hopefully get it going. Saved many in worse condition. The rear axle bracket is real creative. 3 6
Ed Kennell 38,203 #2 Posted September 6, 2022 Nice save. I am surprised that blade has enough lift. That is a new one. Glad it didn't break the case.

But a mite scary - OK to transport the plow, but I would advise against using it for any real work. A sudden stop hitting a solid object , tripping the blade, transfers all that force thru the overhung 3/4 inch diameter rod into the weak area of the Unidrive. A contest for sure to see if the rod bends first to a point where it is no longer removable or the Unidrive pops and spits it out ..... and it looks like you need to remove a rear wheel to slide the pin sideways to drop the plow - or both rear wheels it you need to thump on it - it just keeps on getting better, eh ?? I bought a parts tractor with a 3/4" rod like that, the rod was bent so badly that it was a struggle getting it out after being cut off flush .
