Handy Don 12,233 #3 Posted September 5, 2022 Haven't seen an Oliver outboard in at least 30 years. I'd love to hear the story about the 315 and "the crunch". Is that a 701 dying in the sun? Dual S/G pulley and "footstep" foot rests. Thanks for the pictures, Bill.

Retired Wrencher 5,464 #6 Posted September 5, 2022 (edited) Mike I will have to look that up for Ca members. Looks to be about 30 members in Ca. They have some nice-looking tractors there. Edited September 5, 2022 by Retired Wrencher
953 nut 55,290 #7 Posted September 5, 2022 Bill, love to see photos of old dealerships that are proud enough to keep the insignia prominently displayed. That 701 sitting in the weeds would be a fine member of anyone's herd, looks like it is all there.

Available readily in a near to stock size for big wheel Wheelhorses. R-4 / R4 is the industry standard designation. They're good on turf and harder aggregate surfaces. Softer stuff like loose clay or mud I greatly prefer the AG/bar R1 farm tractor tread. IMHO. YMMV.
Sailman 1,291 #10 Posted September 5, 2022 Familiar with the skid steer tread but never used it. Was trying to find AG tires in 15 inch for my GT-14 ...but no luck Skid steer tread was closest thing....so I went with turfs.
Vurge 158 #11 Posted September 8, 2022 Oh, WOW. I'm relatively local (1 hour away) and haven't ever seen this place! Wheel Horses are really hard to come by around here. I've always thought it was because there were no dealers out here..... guess I'm wrong! 1
kpinnc 12,082 #12 Posted September 8, 2022 Very nice! That 315-8 looks like I feel most days... Knocked back and shocked!

It was in Lodi, CA and the guy with his wife took me to town to eat at an In-N-Out burger joint was maybe 10 minutes away.
