ebinmaine 67,484 #1 Posted September 4, 2022 This is a set of narrow 12" trailer rims with Carlisle 6-12 AGs on them. We acquired these a few years back at the estate auction where a huge part of our inventory was added. Originally they were on a project tractor that we referred to as the baby farm tractor. Of late they've been on the front of Cinnamon Horse C160 when I have the big Mackissic chipper shredder mounted. The 22" diameter gives a few inches of increased height to help the maneuverability while traveling our rough forest terrain. Next weekend is @JCM Jim's Meet n Greet in N Berwick Maine. He has some great trails for tooling around on. I'll put these narrow AGs on the back and a set of tri ribs up front. I'll update later with more pics. 6

I guess that the tires were too stiff or aged to remove them?

One was flat and had been that way for years so it's badly weather cracked in the place it rested on the ground. I put tubes in them a couple months ago.

I wondered why you went to all the trouble masking the tires when removing them would make for an easier and better painting.

I do this trick also. Works a lot better then taking the tires off and waiting for the paint to dry. I recently did it on my truck and blacked out my rims.

But I think it's worth the time and effort to go ahead and paint the insides before the tires get mounted. That and then using the cards makes for a good outcome in my opinion. 1

ebinmaine 67,484 #25 Posted September 7, 2022 Me n the BBT and Meeha Mirror finished up the Wheel Horse wheel party by removing the masking and airing them up. 14 lbs in the rears. We also mounted the tri rib tires on the 8" 5 hole rims I got the other day. Here's the HF manual tire changer with a rubber inner tube wheel protector. It kinda worked ok. Not perfect... Dog. Helping. The fronts are now pressurized to 35 or so. Yes that's high. These are trailer wheels. All four spinners and sneakers ready for Trina to get them on Cinnamon Horse C160 tomorrow. That'll be my steed at @JCM Jim's Meet n Greet in N Berwick Maine Saturday.
