Interesting Old hand Crank Briggs

Recommended Posts

oliver2-44

I saw this on during my morning review.

I've never seen one with a hand crank before!

If it wasn't 2 hours away I could be tempted.....

Can anyone identify the model, HP  and years this model was made,

The spark plug has an interesting location, looks like it is on the side of the intake valve. quite a ways from the top center of the cylinder

Lots of cast iron for those few HP

I'll be damned. 1930-1940 Briggs Model A. Not entirely sure on what year without serial number... :eusa-think:

I can tell you though that since the tag does not have rust or corrosion on it... it appears to be aluminum... telling me that it is possibly a later model.
