953 nut 55,290 #4 Posted September 1, 2022 There may be a model number and serial number tag riveted to the steering tower just below the dash. My guess is an 855/1055 or 856/1056 being a short frame . Parts for the mid sixties Wheel Horses are very interchangeable, in fact some parts from '70s, '80s and '90s will bolt right up with little or no modification. rmaynard 15,509 #6 Posted September 1, 2022 (edited) I think that 1968 was the last year for stirrup-style foot rests. It's a 4 speed. Shifter is straight up. Tunnel has an angled cover. Rear fender is hinged at the back with a slide lock on the left side. Engine/gas tank is obviously a replacement. As noted by others, this tractor has some "work done" on it but if the engine (probably a Briggs & Stratton transplant) and trans are usable, you have a great starting point!
