This one is a type of brush hog. Plenty of guarding to protect you from that spinning blade out front. 8 hours ago, Achto said: Edited August 30, 2022 by Achto 2 2

squonk 41,104 #12 Posted August 30, 2022 Now that's a grader blade! It's a shame WH didn't build theirs like that one. Bout twice as heavy. Easy to adapt to a Horse. 1

953 nut 55,222 #14 Posted August 30, 2022 Dan @Achto, do you have any closer pictures of the Cub/motorcycle or whatever you would call it? Not something I would ever build but very interesting rig nonetheless. 1

Pullstart 62,851 #16 Posted August 30, 2022 Awesome stuff guys! Comparing to Portage, how would you rate it? We might have a conflict next year and might be looking for an alternative to Portage.

I figure a rolling attachment wouldn’t be too far out of the question. Super heavy frame and counter balance setup, mixed up with a PTO hydraulic pump and big enough reservoir to push the cylinders up! Drive in, click on, lift out.
WHX?? 48,815 #18 Posted August 30, 2022 (edited) Lots smaller than Portage Kev...but growing. Last year ther were what like 90 tractors. This year 240 something. Dan says lots of tractors but only 5 owners. Did we mention next year is the feature? Big draw for any club is pulls tho which they have. The heavy hitters that travel a good distance with machines that more resemble mini dragsters than GTs. You know twin Gold Wing engines and so forth. They pulled till midnight. They left the eliminator ther in case we wanted to play for fun. That's David Bader Richard... he is a member here but I don't know his handle. I yakked with him quite a bit and he said he paid like 10 bucks for a pile of motorcycle parts at a flea market and threw them all on a tractor just for the halibut. He got his first major award... ... for best display on the mini camper and he stays in the bigger one at shows. Doesn't have to pay camping fees 'cause it's part of his display. His nephew has the awesome Homelite display Dan showed above. Edited August 30, 2022 by WHX?? 3

Like Jim said though, this show is growing and it has the real-estate to grow. The club is very open to exhibitors suggestions on how to improve things. Fact they try to have a meeting with the exhibitors on Sat to find out what they would like to see for improvement's.

Did they bring that gravel in Dan to improve the roads or just give us something to play on? I took that Simplecity for a couple of passes @squonk and that blade is heavy. Plus hy lift.

I've had 3 of those graders The first I had on my 704 and had it built as a mid grader and back blade. Sold it to @scottbrucea 2nd one I sold and shipped to Mass. for some good bucks. 3rd on I got with a Roach Coach last year and still have it. Achto 27,571 #23 Posted August 31, 2022 Found a few more pic from the show, the hot rod pullers. @953 nut I'm still looking for better pics of that full bagger Sears tractor. I'm trying to convert my Simple City friend's dog over to . 1 1
