Wheel horse tiller for 310-8

Recommended Posts

Looking through market place and seeing a few with a few hours drive, some with extra gears and some not. Curious about what I should be looking for exactly. Hate to buy one and then realize I still need more parts.

I have the clevis hitch and rock shaft to install. The long honkin' belt is on order because it's the same one I need for my mower deck. Appears to be the idler pully, shaft and spring i need.

This is the tiller used in 1985 for the 310-8. The parts list shows all the necessary pieces.

Later tillers will also fit. Earlier ones will work with modifications.

My mower is the 37" I believe which uses the same 110265 belt. However, I may only have a one cylinder so I'll have to check. Still so new to this.

Yes and no I think. Mower deck belt for 37" is 110265. It's the same belt for the tiller if I have a twin cylinder motor which i probably don't have with just 10hp.
