Moonshine*Connoisseur 435 #1 Posted August 22, 2022 (edited) Motion lever tension is needing to be adjusted so it doesnt flop around from forward to reverse, resulting in whiplash to me and it being a bucking bronco. Holding on for dear life, lol. I drug this one out from rusty acres since I dont have a functioning black hood tractor in my line-up, my C-161 which has this same set up I believe will be next after Im finished going through the C-145. Ive tried locating the manual on here but it just tells me about the sunstrand hydro. Thanks in advance.....Sincerely, Shine. Edited August 22, 2022 by Moonshine*Connoisseur Adding a pic. daveoman1966 3,758 #4 Posted August 22, 2022 The only C-145 I see with Sundstrand hydro is model # 01-14KS01. All other are Eaton hydro. If Sundstrand, look on the hoodstand to see if this TAB has a broken weld... If so, that will cause the erractic motion control.
Moonshine*Connoisseur 435 #5 Posted August 22, 2022 yes this is a 01-14KS01 , Serial number 0051
Moonshine*Connoisseur 435 #6 Posted August 23, 2022 Tab is good, nothing looks broken or monkied with. I did order a replacement plastic Cam #5996 today from Toro, $14 a piece which i didnt think was too bad and glad they are still available so i got 2 to have on hand in case I needed them in the future. daveoman1966 3,758 #7 Posted August 23, 2022 This manual for Sundstrand explains how to adjust the TENSION on the Motion Control Lever....but first look for that BROKEN weld on the tab I suggested.
