This was listed near me on marketplace. Thought you all would like to see it. Advertised as a 2 cylinder tractor wood saw that mounts of the front of a tractor.

OSHA…? Isn’t that a small town in Wisconsin??? Don’t they have safety guards???

That's a cord wood saw, they get a lot of money for them in my area. Five hundred ish probably.

Back about 30 plus years ago I helped out a neighbor occasionally using one of those but on a larger scale.

 

That one had a guard that went over the top and back and the blade was 30 plus inches diameter. Sometimes it took two people or more to get the 4'  cordwood up onto the carriage but it would cut whatever you put in there.

That blade rotating at whatever RPM scared the snot out of all of us and that was probably a good thing.

Neat machine for sure but I don't miss running one.
