Will a short shute auger fit into a tall shute? Same bearing and all? The auger on my tall shute is kinda beyond repair. I’ve got a short shute dismantled as parts that shute is pretty much good. The have the same sprocket, the short shute vs the tall shute, the same chain.

For a start, download the parts manuals for both - check the P/N's for the 2 augers - maybe the same??
