Pullstart 62,851 #1 Posted August 20, 2022 Rylee and I had a nice trip to town today, about an 8 mile round trip. The parade was fun and the tractors got lots of thumbs ups! 3 9
Pullstart 62,851 #2 Posted August 20, 2022 I got a real kick out of the ‘92 Geo Metro! It’s taken him about 10 years to make things fit! 7 1

Pullstart 62,851 #7 Posted August 20, 2022 And we followed up with a pork loin, stuffed with onions and garlic, dry rubbed and injected with salsa, topped with salsa, and smoked at 225 to internal temp of 145. Yum! 4 3

The wife rattled off quite a bit of stuff. 250 block bored to 295? LS7 pistons, V8 rods, lotsa work done. It was a “dodge van” turbo. Makes me think like a sprinter van/ 5 cylinder Mercedes?

Yessir. When I were a teenager I had a friend who's dad ran a Caravan... At the drag strip. He knew what it took to get the old 2.5L turbo to run all kinds of pressure. He blew them up quite a bit but parts were on the cheap and... Well... Just imagine.. you're at the races. ... And a mid 80s minivan pulls up beside you. WWHHAATT???!!??? I understand he did fairly well too.

JimSraj 429 #20 Posted August 21, 2022 I was referring to the blue and white Corvette in the photo with the the JD behind it! Looks like around 1958 model I’d guess.
Pullstart 62,851 #21 Posted August 21, 2022 The guy who owned the turbo car, decided that the Senior rear hubs I just got done painting, were a perfect kicking target practice! How do you tell a grown fool to kick the tires, not the paint?

EB-80/8inPA 1,641 #23 Posted August 21, 2022 It’s cool that it’s parked in front of the Datsun, as the guy seemed to be trying to capture that vintage Japanese ‘60s styling vibe.
