75 B-80 - 36” rear discharge deck belt cover shape

Working on fixing up the deck cover for my 36” Rear discharge deck M# 5 0622

 

Trying to figure out if there is supposed to be a outward dome just behind where the mule drive belt attaches or not. 
 

Almost looks like it belongs there, but was very dinged up, so I hammered it smoother and have been smoothing over that to prep for paint.

 

This morning happened to acquire the manual for this tractor, and in the manual it appears that bump out dome is not there.

 

Anyone have a picture of a deck thats in good shape to compare?

Im wondering if I should hammer that flat on the anvil.

Checked clearance. Seems like that dome needs to be there now, but maybe there was a repair at some point of the tensioner bolt that made that dome necessary.
