Years ago, 35 or more, my FIL was employed as a mechanic at a Cadillac dealership. One of his coworkers always picked up the daily paper and read it at break, particularly the "Yankee Trader" ads.. One day he shows up at work with a 2 year old Coupe DeVille with his plates on it - seems a couple got divorced, the car was in the wife's name and the judge ordered her to sell the car & give the ex half of the proceeds, which she did. Did I mention the dollar limit on all items in the Yankee Trader at that time was $50 bucks??!!! Yup, he got the car for 50 bucks - she gave her ex 25... True story...

Wait… too many he and his.  Your FIL bought a coworker’s Caddy for 50, or it happened to him?

Here’s another one.  I have my school bus for sale.  Really, I do.  Not the joke.  Asking 10 grand for it, plus or minus.  A guy offered a Lowe’s John Deere zero turn in trade today.  It retails for $2999 brand new!  :laughing-rolling:

That like what happened to my dad. My dad was selling his Ford F-250  6.0 and a guy said I’ll trade you my moped scooter for it

It reminds me of that divorced guy that cut his house in half with a chain saw.

Ha! I don’t know.  I was trying to add a profile background pic and musta hit the wrong button.  I didn’t even notice the thing!  TY!

So, Nelson will now be securing my profile pic while I find that danged incendiary original, laughing at me.

Found it.  All is well.  If you can call that well, that is.

To get back to the original post - You are treading on thin ice there @Hampton. What if she asked him to leave and he said he would be back to rehome his toys, but they were gone when he shows up??? Worth sleeping with one eye open all night - for the rest of your time? Could also get you an express ticket to meet your Maker.....
