peter lena 8,612 #1 Posted August 18, 2022 ezra going marines , late aug , 3RD RTBN -LIMA , wants to be a crew chief on a c130 , aced pre test , my son was in 3rd ranger batt , has been smokin ezra now for months , lots of water /combat time , 2/3 times a week , regular runs , dropped 20 + lbs , looks like barbed wire . dan is going to welding school , with lots of plans , has really developed a mindset to do things , can only suggest things to have in place , very interesting time . wish them the best , but they still have to do it , grampa 1 7 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
ri702bill 8,316 #2 Posted August 18, 2022 (edited) Is Ezra out of Quonset?? I'm in the flight path as they come & go to Andover - usually 4 or 5 spaced about a mile apart. Asked my next door neighbor if he ever saw one coming back on 3 of the 4 engines running - practice drill. I DID see one coming back to Quonset about 10 years ago on 3 engines, the dead one was smoking badly - 2 C130's, one on either side as wingmen... Dan going to to work at "The Boat"???
