Little more progress finally got ahold of new tie rod ends just have to clean up and paint the jam nuts for them. I also got the rest of the panels sand blasted and got the hood stand welded up and ground down. I’ve always seen these break out at the top but I’ve never seen the bottom break on them.

Well I don’t know how I missed it but I somehow did but my fan gear had a broken off tooth and I will be honest I just tried replacing it but the replacement I got from ebay was worse for wear that I couldn’t tell from the pictures so I decided to roll the dice and weld it up and shape a new tooth which turned out fairly well and with a test fit in the tractor it meshes good. Wish I would’ve caught it sooner but such is life so now time to sand the it back down and give it a fresh paint job.

Got my new gauges in the mail today to replace the old INOP ones while not identical they are the exact replacement but I am debating on taping them up and painting the rings black or just leaving them chrome. Little by little it’s coming along!
