It was always specified by the customer, and other than when moving from tubes to tubeless wheels while I was still in grade school, I don't remember any changes. The Tire and Rim Association is the keeper of standards to make sure tires, rims, tubes, valve stems, and wheel weights all work together regardless of who built the component. rmaynard 15,458 #8 Posted August 17, 2022 (edited) I have adapters to make the .410 fit in the .625 holes. I can send you a couple, but..... I'm on vacation in Florida and won't be home until Friday. I bought a pair of rear wheels from Lincoln last year and one had the .453 and the other had the .625 sizes. Quote fit .453" and .625" rim holes... NEVER MIND! LOL! I installed with the first washer correctly. Spray some soapy water on the bead to see where it's coming out (or just throw the wheel and tire into the swimming pool). They can easily be under or over tightened, it appears that you may have squashed the rubber too much.
