Handy Don 12,174 #2 Posted August 16, 2022 Need more info on what you are thinking of and have parts for, but normally the rear clevis (aka sleeve) hitch is perfectly happy to coexist with a mower deck. I have a clevis hitch and rock shaft on the way and was thinking a middle buster for potatoes after mowing the tops of the plants down. Later on other attachments for the back. Handy Don 12,174 #5 Posted August 17, 2022 (edited) Only issues will be: - crop clearance for the mower deck vs. whatever you have on the back - that the raising and lowering cannot be done independently. Raised mower deck only clears the ground by 3 inches or so at the most. But it you are mowing and busting, one pass might just work. We'd want to see pictures, of course!
