Mower blades not spinning

I have a wheel horse no name 14 that has a 42 inch deck. The center pulley seems to be missing something as the pulley is smooth and the shaft has square sides. Can someone please tell me what seems to be wrong?

Wonderful thank you for the responses! The other bearings do seem to be noisy. Do you know what bearings would replace them?

@russellmc301  if you are going to be replacing those deck bearings , someone will probably give you the bearing # , opportunity is the most important part of a bearing swap , recommend doing a grease change on those new bearings , if the bearings have wide rubber side shields , flat pocket screwdriver , carefully remove the seals  , wipe out  original grease , flush with carb cleaner , repack with lucas  x-tra heavy duty chassis grease , walmart  green and white tube , 560 temp rating , anti sling , polyurea (  recovering  ) rated , imagine quiet bearings , no whining hi pitch noise !  I  also re grease my mule drive bearings , and the needle bearing in the pto drive cone . years of  reliable use , no noise or failures ,  questions , just ask , pete
