The Lunch Date.

Mrs. K  likes to eat out with her mother and sister for lunch.   

   I am never invited because she knows  having spent my first 20 years in dirt poor Appalachia, I still after 60 years, have difficulty swallowing a $30 sandwich.

 

But, today she invited me to lunch.

 

A fried deer bologna sammy with matos and onions.   It went down real easy.

Nice! Hard to be a mater sandwich! That venison bologna looks great! I hope to have some venison stuffed peppers this weekend and probably going to take some to Church for our Homecoming meal.

I don't mine eating out, but I have found the best places are where the working class go for lunch.

I’m a volunteer firefighter for well over 30 years, so when we travel I’ll try to find the local firehouse and ask those guys where they eat? I’ve yet to be steered wrong!
