First one of many to come. I looked a read a few threads on the paint and color others had chosen to go with. I myself found that I liked the Rustoleum  Industrial Choice “SAFETY RED”. To me…. It looked like a perfect shade of red. I will attach before and after pics. I also wanted to add that, redoyourhorse.com made finding the decals very simple and easy to Order.

Indeed - Terry and Lola have always provided a quality product in the decals - and will even entertain the idea of custom ones... looks nice.

Looks good!  I might suggest on your next one, cheap playing cards from the dollar store make for great solutions to deflate your tires, stick the cards between them and the wheels, then paint   Much less overspray

@Prestons Hobby  looks good , how is your want to do list , going ?  basic thorough , baseline service , total lubrication refresh , any electrical issues , how does the deck work ?  choke and throttle cables ?   ,  want you to enjoy it , pete

Definitely going to use the playing cards next time. 😂 everything works and runs like a champ. Mower deck is solid as can be and mows great. Thank you for the comments

As @Pullstart mentioned, the playing cards give a crisp edge with no overspray. If the temperature is below 80 degrees or so, I place the rattle can in a pan of hot waper from the tap - thins the paint and raises the pressure inside the can for better results. Spent all of $1 at the local Dollar Store for the plastic coated Jumbo sized playing cards - once done, they are reusable for the next project...

Well… second grade level yes… beyond that, I need to use my toes and fingers…

From my old building model cars days - painted them in the basement at my parent's house - temp in the winter would be 55 or so... you learn quickly to wipe the bottom of the can before spraying!

I would also recommend tying down some of those cables and fuel lines away from the debris screen. I use zip ties. Looks neater and keeping them in close will prevent brushing past a bush or branch and ripping them off. Also some blk duct tape or some plasti-dip on the seat corners will hide some holes. When I paint wheels i paint the inside and the outside the same color. Nice looking machine, good job.
