I recently repaired my tuff torque transmission with a new main spindle bearing.  After some cycling, the transmission appears to be working fine.  Moves quickly forward and backward when pressing pedal.   Also stops when releasing pedal.  When mower is off and transmission engaged (not bypassed) it will not move backwards as expected but does move forward as if it is in bypass mode.   Is there an adjustment to prevent this?   I don’t recall it doing this before I repaired transmission.

Found this is a service manual. Sounds like it is performing correctly.Transmission Hydro Tuff Torq K61 Service manual Pt6 SS.jpg

Fantastic!    Thank you for the information.   I actually used the mower today for about an hour cutting grass and it performed like a champ.   My initial issue was no movement so with trans still installed on mower I removed the lower cover plate and found remnants of a bearing in the bottom.   Replaced final spindle bearing and trans filter and reassembled and thank goodness it is working again.   I love this mower and the fact the repair was less than $100.   Lots of great hep offered on this site.
