peter lena 8,589 #1 Posted August 9, 2022 https://www.walmart.com/ip/Snow-Sled-Lightweight-Roll-Up-Snow-Sled-Portable-Rolling-Snow-Slider-for-Adults-Flexible-Flat/789262266? used this or similar , plastic / teflon type material , to magic marker a gasket base to the blower chute / housing area . cut it out with scissors , used , super lube , teflon lubricant on it . lets the chute swing with out effort , just an improvement over what the set up was . tend to do that on a lot of things . also added electrical lugs , on chute cable mount points , much better , always tinkering , greasy pete 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
peter lena 8,589 #2 Posted August 10, 2022 @skrusins if and when you get some slide sheeting , remove the chute from the housing , set it down on the sheet ,and magic marker the base metal to metal size , scissor cut it out , very easy , https://www.zoro.com/super-lube-4-oz-hydraulic-oil-bottle-150-iso-viscosity-85w-sae-5100 , this comes in aerosol and paste also , local H/W usually has it , or on line . the oil is also excellent in side your choke and throttle cables . did a lot of functional detailing on my blower , just some ideas , pete 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
