855 clutch pivot arm

@Jiminoh

:text-welcomeconfetti:

While roll pins are very hard they can be drilled out with a carbide drill bit.  I have a small set of Ryobi carbide bits from Home Depot that are labeled for tile or glass.  I have drilled out steering wheel roll pins with them, They work very well.
If that doesn’t work one of the Vendors that list in Red Square “Vendor Section”. A-Z Tractor Salvage might have one. Give him a call at 717-821-2542. He is located in Pa.

You could also place an ad in the Classified section herein.

PS We would love to see some pictures of your Restoration.

 I just asked because it seemed like something else was going on with the part.  Might have something for ya but I don't want to waste my time finding and pulling the part for no reason like it's not any good because the paint is scuffed or something. Something just seemed weird since Dave has been around here a long time and don't remember ever seeing any problems before.

The roll pin needs to be removed to get this one too and just as you found, it's not always fun getting them out. Certainly not worth the $20 for my time to do it but if you can't find the thing I'd give it go to get you one.

Wouldn't the roll pin need to be removed from your part anyway to install the new part? If AZ doesn't have what you need let me know

Just for clarification please look at the attached drawing and think outside the box for a moment. If there is no way you can get the roll pin #47 out of arm #46 then you may want to consider buying the cross shaft #44 with arm #45 attached as well as arm #46. That way you can cut shaft #44, remove both halves and insert the replacement parts.

I PMed you Jim.  I'll send the arm, shaft, pulley everything. Your choice of color.... patinaed or patinaed....:lol:

Be advised tho I may have to hold it ransome for:text-coolphotos: of your project.

We do like our 855s here.

Picked this one up from @cschannuth last year. All original unmolested and runs like the day it was new.

 Glad to see Jim @WHX?? saved me from the potential of any roll pin removal. That old frame it's on has been sitting out there for while!

Keep the parts. Ditch everything else. You can give those snow shovels to Kevin so he can keep his shop clean! :lol:
