I can’t imagine that many shops are truly limited by the flatness of their fixturing table but it’s certainly nice to have a sound base to build on. I don’t know what brand they are, but we have three of those sorts of tables at work and have a fourth on order. Two are 4x8 and one is a little smaller. The guys really like them but to be honest they don’t improve the quality of a person’s work if that person doesn’t have the right drive, imagination, and aptitude. Still, they have proven to be a worthwhile investment over the plain steel tables that have now been relegated to accumulating junk on them. I’m going to share that video with our fab shop leader.
