YazellFarm 8 #1 Posted August 1, 2022 I have a 1988 520H. I have the clevis hitch and the cable that goes under the seat. I have been searching like crazy on this site to figure out what the cable attaches to under the machine to make the attachment raise and lower. I'd really appreciate some help. I have attached a picture of under the machine. Thank you.

Does the clevis pin just go into the lever that raises and lowers the deck?

peter lena 8,589 #8 Posted August 1, 2022 @YazellFarm agree with @daveoman1966 with the break down schematic drawing , something thats glairing at me on your rig , is lack of lubrication staining , every one of the movement areas should be lubricated with an aerosol lubricant , to watch the rust run out , found those related linkage points work amazingly easy and smooth , with red and tacky or similar spray grease / oil , support . only a suggestion , greasy , pete

It was restored and used around the family property to pull kids around for a while, but our family received it and I actually put it to work. I appreciate the insight because my assumption is it was all put back together dry.
peter lena 8,589 #10 Posted August 1, 2022 @YazellFarm thanks for the reply, that main lift lever , has a bushing set up on each side of the console, make sure you get those , also spray down ./ into the lift lever while using top spring release. watch the rust run out , having a lubrication addiction , its just a regular check on all my stuff , but when I see someone trying to get anything to work thats rusty , it just does not make any sense to me . I also go nuts on similar linkage areas , so if you have a question , just ask , pete
