bkoch1@wi.rr.com 2 #1 Posted July 24, 2022 1966 1276 Replaced o rings on speed control lever trans fluid leaking. leak is good but after driving fine a while, wont go forward. barely moves or not at all, reverse and plow control work. If I pull back to neutral, put down pressure on plow, then push forward it will go forward with speed and power. No issues like this before the repair was done. ??? Going to go back in, what should I be looking for?
pfrederi 17,865 #2 Posted July 24, 2022 (edited) I do not believe that the 1276 had a hydro lift. It used the "Wheelamatic" really a Sunstrand 31000777. Sounds like your hydro may have been replaced at some point with a hydro gear maybe 90-2046 or 90-1136. Download the manual and try the hydro gear tune up page 49...you may have an implement or charge pump relief valve issue... Edit: Where yo putting down pressure on the manual lift handle??? If you do not have a hydro lift look at second manual... Edited July 24, 2022 by pfrederi
953 nut 55,746 #3 Posted July 24, 2022 Sounds to me like your motion controller may not be properly engaging the plastic cam plate. if that is the case Lowell can fix you up. https://wheelhorsepartsandmore.com/product/5996-cam-plate-for-hydrostatic-transmission/
