PeacemakerJack 10,738 #1 Posted July 20, 2022 Look out @Pullstart and anyone who may be posting videos of your kids/grandkids using garden tractors. Your video may offend the “factcheckers” at YouTube and be in danger of getting “the axe”. I have had my PeacemakerJack channel for about a decade and it is a place for tractor videos, a few gun videos, etc. I have a couple of videos that have a bunch of hits (for tractor videos) and one that “went viral” but I got this message today which I thought you would find interesting. this video was a simple plowing video of my daughter at 8 years old plowing for the first time at the Buck Creek Plow day on GhostRider. What makes the whole thing so sickening is all of the dangerous videos on that site depicting all kinds of potential harmful activity and yet my kid on a GT driving in first gear turning earth is considered “a dangerous activity that poses a risk…” Why don’t they take down the ENTIRE “Fail Army” channel then? So, if this has started something, they may start removing all of my videos because most of them have kids and machinery because I want my children to grow up with some of the opportunities that I had. what a society we live in where kids can feed on the trash that is found in many video games, TV programs, movies, etc (that’s all considered ok) and yet a kid plowing on GT is “dangerous activity”. Apparently those people need to get out a little more. Here is Claudia, participating in that “dangerous activity”. She looks “really scared” doesn’t she guys! I’ll climb down off my soapbox now but it is yet another case of the influence of backwards thinking in this society in which we now live. Reminds me of a Bible verse, “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!” They don’t know anymore what is good, light, and sweet! I appreciate all of you from this community that still share with me the many traditional values that made this country what it is… 1 9
Pullstart 62,902 #2 Posted July 20, 2022 PullStart Stables too has a check against the channel for “Kids on Their Wheelhorse Tractors” where they were driving around in circles in the driveway. One more (that they find) and I’ll be shut down for 1 week, and so on. I even fought their charges and was quickly “put in my place” as far as their beliefs of safety. I should probably just get them a good gaming console and a Grand Theft Auto game set. 6 1

squonk 41,121 #4 Posted July 20, 2022 I think it has more to do with online child predators than the actual video. Posting pics and videos of kids in this day and age is a bad idea IMHO
ri702bill 8,326 #5 Posted July 20, 2022 Same goes for Facebook - too many folks post real time pictures and videos while away on vacation, they might as well leave the front door wide open ...
ri702bill 8,326 #6 Posted July 20, 2022 I suppose the Video Cops would have a major cramp if I posted an old 8 mm home movie of relatives driving back in the early 1960's with the baby sleeping on the package tray under the rear window on their way to the beach....

Decisions, decisions .... While typing, the Holiday Concert episode of South Park flashed in my head, the one where the kids had to be over-the-top Politicall Correct so as not to offend anyone. No mention of Christmsa, Kwanza, Hanukkah, or the like while singing. The kids just stood there and hummed - no words. Well, that offended me!! 1

In an effort to save my channel, I’ll be taking a lot of stuff down. They just have to find 2 more videos of kids on tractors before I do. I’m not a South Park guy, but at least they have the ability to speak their mind, in what free country we have left, without sensorship. Yeah, sore subject here. I’m saddened and angry at them for telling me what’s ok and not ok. If they are concerned for my kid’s wellbeing from a predator, I’m well armed and protected. ‘Nuff said before I get in more trouble. 3

I would hate to see my child die doing something they enjoy. I’m still not going to lock them in a padded room u til they are 18. Sorry… I thought I was done ranting. Guess not. 1 2
WheelHorse520H 708 #15 Posted July 20, 2022 As a "kid" I totally agree with all of you. I think that as long as there is adult supervision and the kid knows what they are doing, (and no one gets hurt) YouTube should be good with the videos.
SylvanLakeWH 25,577 #16 Posted July 20, 2022 Easy solution. Don’t post on or use YouTube or google. Use DuckDuckGo. No social media other than this site. So far that’s not been an issue (thank you mods…). getting to the point where the effort to tell a single narrative and squash all others is beyond Orwell… 1
Handy Don 12,232 #17 Posted July 20, 2022 The owners of the sites make the rules based on their own system of values. Build (and pay for) your own website and you can make the rules. Why the angst? This is not a new phenomenon. 3
formariz 11,987 #18 Posted July 20, 2022 (edited) Don’t post videos of your activities with your children because you promote unsafe practices. Don’t mention your religion because you will offend others. Don’t mention your religion because others may offend and single you out if not worse. Don’t mention your believes because others will attack you for it. Don’t divulge your background or heritage because you will be classified as an outsider to use a non political word. Don’t divulge your political affiliation if you have one because you will be insulted. Don’t wear jewelry in public because you may be mugged. Don’t wear certain colors because they may be gang colors and they will shoot you. Don’t wear a mask because they may say you drank the cool aid Do wear a mask or they will not let you in. Don’t voice radical opinions or you will be labeled a terrorist, a socialist or a communist. Be careful of what you post on your own site because you may be held liable for something . Don’t speak within certain groups be cause you have an accent and they will dislike you. And on and on…….. Perhaps we are not as free as we claim to be. Just like beauty ,freedom is also in the eye of the beholder. Edited July 20, 2022 by formariz 9 1

Darb1964 1,042 #21 Posted July 20, 2022 I see people riding on their riding mowers all the time with small children, every owners manuals for last thirty years have warnings against doing that. That's why the new machines when backing up, turn off the mower deck. I know that's not exactly what this thread is all about. Many children have been backed over and killed or maimed for life, because they were given a ride at one time by the operator. The parents or care takers know if the child is responsible enough to work a machine and should have the option if they allow it or not. I think that may have something to do with them not allowing video of children running equipment.

Bill D 1,922 #23 Posted July 20, 2022 (edited) Take your YouTube channel down and switch your videos to Rumble. At least they won't censor stuff like this. I personally don't show my face online. I don't have children, but if I did, I would never post pictures of my children. Too many predators out there. I also wouldn't put it past someone to call CPS on someone over photos and videos like this. Sadly it may be safer to take all your pictures and videos down if there are minors in the picture/video. Sharing photos with close friends via text is safest. Edited July 20, 2022 by Bill D
