Bradshawn 49 #1 Posted July 20, 2022 Good evening I’m in the process of tearing down a c-81 have some broken wires in the fuse block. I’m trying to source a replacement with no such luck. Is Another configuration possible? As far as twinning wires together and using inline fuses? I’m not too familiar with electrical work. I’m a dumb welder 😂

lynnmor 7,482 #9 Posted July 20, 2022 (edited) Just Google Dorman 85668 and buy according to price or convenience. This cap is expensive, but it will protect the fuse block. Edited July 20, 2022 by lynnmor
peter lena 8,976 #10 Posted July 20, 2022 @Achto @Bradshawn agree with you on the automotive fuse block set up , why not install something better ? wiring and faulty connections are a major area of disfunction , , would also add a wiring reroute , and wiring cable wrap , to eliminate chafing / shorting connection areas . while you are doing that , insure / verify a ground connection cable from battery cable ground bolt down point , don't think its grounded , add a wire to the area . use an alligator test clip wire to insure ground function , then hard wire it . only a suggestion . stay grounded , pete 2
