sjoemie himself 3,068 #30 Posted July 20, 2022 (edited) It's nice outside by now, half past one in the morning, 19°C or 67°F. Inside not so much, house is pretty heatsoaked 26°C or 79°F indoors. Ventilating helps but then we have to sit in the dark otherwise we get all kinds of flying critters inside, not ideal. The real 'killer' is the humidity. Started to drizzle later this evening which is enough to cause high humidity but not enough to cool things down. Sticky situation. Also the reason why i'm typing this right now instead of sleeping The weatherman promised rain all day tomorrow so we'll see what comes of that. A nice rainfall for half a day or so would be nice to cool everything down. Edit: we'll probably survive though Dutchies are known for always having something to complain about Edited July 20, 2022 by sjoemie himself Added info

We hit 112 F yesterday here in Oklahoma. today is cooler at 106 F. I can't wait till October.... It's definitely miserable here right now...not sure what part of the state you're in, but I snapped this picture as I was pulling the service truck in the shop for the night last night. I'm up in the NW corner of the state, Woodward area...hottest I've seen in a long time. We went to Fairview for the monthly meeting at the historical society last night...it was still 102 when we left to come back home at 830

sjoemie himself 3,068 #34 Posted July 21, 2022 10:00 in the morning and it's now 21°C or 70°F outside. We had torrential rain last night which was so loud it woke me up, no thunderstorm which they did predict.
