sat down in the cooler and closed the door!

I've seen too many Final Destination movies to have done that :ychain:

Spent the last 17 years of my working life in coolers and freezers. Some of that time in Hospital morgues.

It's nice outside by now, half past one in the morning, 19°C or 67°F.

Inside not so much, house is pretty heatsoaked 26°C or 79°F indoors.

Ventilating helps but then we have to sit in the dark otherwise we get all kinds of flying critters inside, not ideal.

The real 'killer' is the humidity. Started to drizzle later this evening which is enough to cause high humidity but not enough to cool things down. Sticky situation. Also the reason why i'm typing this right now instead of sleeping <_<

The weatherman promised rain all day tomorrow so we'll see what comes of that. A nice rainfall for half a day or so would be nice to cool everything down.

Edit: we'll probably survive though :P

Dutchies are known for always having something to complain about :angry-cussingblack:

Yeah this part of the summer is my least favorite time of year.  We hit 112 F yesterday here in Oklahoma.  today is cooler at 106 F.  I can't wait till October....

It's definitely miserable here right now...not sure what part of the state you're in, but I snapped this picture as I was pulling the service truck in the shop for the night last night. I'm up in the NW corner of the state, Woodward area...hottest I've seen in a long time. We went to Fairview for the monthly meeting at the historical society last night...it was still 102 when we left to come back home at 830

So, @Mickwhitt, @sjoemie himself and @Stormin ...  How are you guys holding up?

Still breathing Ed. Just back in with from the dogs morning walk. 15C with a slight breeze. Forecast some rain for later tonight and on and off for the next few days.

Hopefully get the last section of the first fence finished today. Temp' not to top 19C. Maybe!

10:00 in the morning and it's now 21°C or 70°F outside. We had torrential rain last night which was so loud it woke me up, no thunderstorm which they did predict.
