Prestons Hobby 76 #1 Posted July 18, 2022 Hello there. Yes, I am new to the group but look forward to tapping into the knowledge that I believe is here. I recently purchased 7 wheel horse tractors of various eras. One of these being a 211-A model. After a little bit of work I was able to get the girl up and running again and looking good but…. The only snag I have run into that I can not get a grip on is how the mower deck attaches to the tractor. The front of the deck is pretty simple and self explanatory. The back however was hung by a rope when I got it which I am guessing was not factory equipment. Any help finding a diagram or explanation of how this is supposed to attach would be greatly appreciated. Thank you 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

As you stated, it did not have the deck attachment instructions in the manual but definitely has a lot of details I was missing on the adjustments of the tractor. As I stated, I am new on here and after looking at the entire list of files you provided I have a better idea of how the mower deck is supposed to look. The bracket on the back of mine is definitely different or was broken off a long time ago. It is referenced in one of your files so hopefully I can locate that mounting bracket and then I might be able to make more sense of how it goes together so long as I am not missing parts from the tractor side. The 211 series tractors I assume were pretty close in production time line and again I am assuming. If I find a 211-3 or -4, -5 would that have the same deck mounting system as my 221-A?
