Horse Newbie 7,168 #29 Posted August 6, 2022 (edited) Cut new plywood seat bases for the seats for the go cart and put the covers back on… the top corners of the back was a little rough around the edges… fixed that with black go-rill-a tape. Horse Newbie 7,168 #30 Posted August 7, 2022 Now that Grady’s wife sewed the owners manual/ tool bag on the new piece of felt for the back rest, we put the seat back on. Waiting on a new belt now so I can see if the go cart will shred the new belt. If it does shred it I guess I’ll have to look at the centrifugal clutch a little closer. Also need to figure out why the brakes aren’t working so well…
Horse Newbie 7,168 #31 Posted August 21, 2022 Got the new belt on, lubed the chain… Had to take the whole rear axle out to try to clean and adjust the mechanical brake… go a lot better than it stops-I tell you what ! Took it for a spin through the neighborhood… people sure got a kick seeing me rip up and down the road IMG_1579.MOV
