Moonshine*Connoisseur   435 #1 Posted July 14, 2022 I'm amazed at how well these Horses listen and just hop on the trailer. P 1 1

ineedanother   1,369 #3 Posted July 14, 2022 They seem to just roam wild up there (back home in PA), they're more like snipes or jackalopes down here in the Carolinas.

Moonshine*Connoisseur   435 #9 Posted July 14, 2022 The 1277 has just been awoken from a long nap since 2008. Shes had a hard life with really heavy cast iron wheel weights front and back and a dozer blade, I removed all that, she will have an easy life from here on out. Saved this one from the junk yard, my friend called and held it for me. Glad he did, shes a lil sweetheart, cant wait to get some seat time on this one.
ineedanother   1,369 #10 Posted July 14, 2022 Very nice! Not far from my old stomping grounds. I worked in Zelienople before I enlisted back in the early '80s. We used to trapes out past Elwood City on our way to Ohio when we were in for a road trip for some near-beer  and some partying at a lake over there somewhere that we would visit on occasion. Can't remember the name now. Loooong time ago.
ineedanother   1,369 #11 Posted July 14, 2022 Looks like maybe the B-100 with the chains that I trust will come off before rolling down the parade route
Moonshine*Connoisseur   435 #12 Posted July 14, 2022 Hereford manor ring a bell ? @ineedanother
Moonshine*Connoisseur   435 #13 Posted July 14, 2022 The one with the chains is a no name model 8. This is my snow plowing and trailer toting rig. I put a Briggs 5 hp on it in place of the tired 8hp.  I rarely run this past half throttle and it is a beast. Proof that it is all in the gearing.

We used to float tubes (and coolers) on the creek there although I'd be challenged to spell the name of it now. I believe there were fireworks involved on occasion too.

Moonshine*Connoisseur   435 #16 Posted July 14, 2022 I had to copy and paste, I'm challenged to spell it correctly too. Maybe that's why all the locals just call it Conno creek lol.

It wasn't a great time for the economy up there back then but I had countless good times despite that. Edited July 14, 2022 by ineedanother
