ebinmaine 67,484 #2 Posted July 13, 2022 Tom. You're awesome. Unfortunately I've studied that list very very carefully and I have absolutely NO use for ANY of it. 1 1
squonk 41,104 #3 Posted July 13, 2022 Pics of the vacuum & toilet brush and will you ship?
oliver2-44 9,747 #4 Posted July 13, 2022 (edited) Mods please sensor who can see this list and restrict access so no wives see it! @squonk I will ship you a toilet brush, but it’s an aftermarket brand/ not WH brand. It is slightly used, but still works fine if the appropriate Lucas elbow grease is applied. Just PM me your address. Ed Kennell 38,170 #5 Posted July 13, 2022 So glad to see you have finally got your priorities in order Tom. Dibs on all the laundry products.
lynnmor 7,305 #6 Posted July 13, 2022 You need proper training to use those products, for example the dish washing liquid, bucket and toilet brush is for cleaning tires and wheels. 4

Horse Newbie 7,069 #11 Posted July 13, 2022 I used to help Libby with chores around the house, but I could not even load the dishwasher right. I do occasionally wash dishes in the sink. We got a new washer and dryer a few years back… I don’t know how to turn them on… they are too electronic.

She does ALL the cooking. Except of course my Famous (infamous??) Bear 🐻 cowboy 🤠 coffee ☕ I do almost all the cleanup of kitchen stuff. I also do not actually know how to operate her washer and dryer. I mean the "her" literally. She bought em. She owns em. She operates em. Her mom and I share the folding and hanging.

Handy Don 12,217 #14 Posted July 14, 2022 After a sometimes tense multi-year apprenticeship, I am now permitted to launder, dry, and hang/fold, selected items.
rjg854 11,361 #15 Posted July 14, 2022 I sometimes cook, and I do dishes, and I can use the dryer, but I'm not allowed anywhere near the washer. 1
Ed Kennell 38,170 #16 Posted July 14, 2022 I like to cook and am pretty efficient running a swiffer over the hardwoods. Dishes....I am restricted to washing in the sink. BTW, if you happen to use the wrong soap, a 36" shop floor brush turned up side down makes a good squeegee to push the soap suds out of the kitchen. Laundry.....I am allowed to use the dryer, but the washer is off limits. My favorite cleaner is Clorox, and Mrs K isn't fond of my polka dot wardrobe.

We talking like old rags that don't count anymore? No offense intended. That's where I'm at. 😂

That's where I'm at. 😂 Sheets, towels, table clothes and cloth napkins as well as my own "chore clothes". Occasionally I get specific requests for other stuff along with detailed instructions! And yes, the household cleaning rags (used/greasy shop rags get hung outside to let any volatiles thoroughtly evaporate before they get discarded). I really shine as the kitchen prep chef (peeling, chopping, slicing) and cleanup person. I have two important rules: 1) whoever cooks doesn't do cleanup, and 2) pretty much any meal that someone makes for me is a good meal--be thankful. 2
