While mowing.  That makes it extra exciting!  I hope that you escaped the experience uninjured.

Had something similar happen while plowing 2 winters ago. Looks like yours broke at the welds, our C81 had the overmolded plastic wheel that crack on both sides of the hub - very common.

I decided to fix it for good - whipped up a 2 piece clamp-on adapter and used a Grant 13 inch wheel and their horn eliminator cap mount. No more roll pin issues, because it doesn't have one!! Kind of the same as the 420LSE...

:confusion-confused:            Most GT-14s have a 3/4" shaft and a keyway, that doesn't look anywhere close to one.

I think you will find that the wheel was amputated by owner and only some of the damage was from the failure.

Outer Wheel broke, roll pin and wheel rust welded, most of the carnage was removing wheel with cut off wheel

@ri702bill nice adaption on that wheel ! thats what  I am  talking about , keep those wheels turning ,  BTW  that paint stage looks perfect  for a lubrication spray / rub down . aerosol lubricant of your choice , get a spray coating on all metal surface's , do not rub it in or sandpaper it , just let it soak in for a day , the sun helps the soak in stage , next day , rub down , clean cloth , till dry . total respray again , and drying then rub down . should be a darker looking red , with oiled patina finish . you could linseed  oil finish it , for a nice look . only a suggestion . pete
