Ball Bearing Part Number Help

Recommended Posts

DeepH2O

I’m ordering all new bearings for my 1989 312-8 w/ 8 speed. I’m having a hard time finding if I 100% have the 1533 or the 111199. The Toro Master Parts viewer says 111199. Could someone else help me verify? Thanks!!

The 1533 bearing APPEARS to be superceded by bearing 111199.  1394341579_bearing1533111199.JPG.96146bae1c1e6d535db165efa88b81cf.JPG

it looks like you have the 1533's. If you are ordering from Wheel Horse Parts & More, they have complete kits.

Kit number 5 or 6 depending on your axle size.

https://wheelhorsepartsandmore.com/product-category/manual-transmissions/page/2/

Kit guide.

If you are still unsure, then give Lowell a call. He will gladly help you out, his number is at the bottom of his web page.

Yeah, that’s where I bought all my other bearings from. Lowell had told be the 1533, but then I saw the Master Parts viewer site say it’s the 111199. I guess I will just order the 1533’s and send them back if wrong.

111199 did not replace the 1533 bearing.

Toro changed the bearings used and some are listed here. Click on the fuzzy picture to see

1" axles

1-1/8" axles

The bearing change happened in 1986 so 1989 should have the 111199 bearings.

When the change happened the transmission model number did not change but the tractor model number did change.

I measured my axle with a digital caliper and came up with 1””. I wish I could pick up the phone and call Lowell. I’m over seas and rarely get opportunity to use phone. I would like to order now so it’ll be there when I get home. Thanks for y’all’s help!!

Lowell messaged me and said “I looked it up according to your model number and you do not have 1533’s if you did they would measure half inch wide inch and a half I D 2 1/2 O”

Also, can anyone explain why Lowell’s 111199 bearings are so much cheaper than everywhere else? His are between $50-$60 cheaper than everywhere else.
