1965 855. What's the old girl worth? Running and operates well.

Welcome! Nice looking survivor. Missing the S/G belt guard. A lot depends on the mechanical condition - people are always looking for something used, not used up. I believe that Rotary Mower is an earlier model, the correct one would have the one piece deck shell with rounded corners where the "suitcase handles" are on this one.

A good candidate for someone to restore - price depends on location and what someone is willing to spend. I would say in the $350 to $450 ballpark - not a $1000 machine.

Thank you I appreciate it! I'm going to do some tinkering on it. Get it all cleaned up and probably just have fun with it.

That is the correct mower deck for a 1964 or 1965 model.

Those are great for buzzin around the yard. Trim around trees nice with the short turning radius. @WHX?? will be :sleeping-drool: over that seat!

Got that right that one is cherry! Bonus if it's got ants in it.....kidding RS65....:)

I paid 450 for mine But it is very complete and I know the guy I bought it from so very well taken care of. Missing belt guard lowers the value but not a deal breaker.

I would say 350 - 400 would be fair unless closer inspection reveals some issues.

Many original 855’s came fitted with these older style mower decks…just another example of wheel horse carrying over parts from the previous year and using up leftover stock..😎

@WHX??. Let me blow your mind with a 68 commando 8   :teasing-poke:

There's even an eight in that one   :laughing-rolling:   and it's still the same tractor.
