Olgreyhair 1 #1 Posted July 6, 2022 (edited) Hello all. I have a 1969 Wheel Horse Charger V7 with a Eaton 6 hydrostatic transmission. It is a family heirloom from my wifes grandfather. really nice condition, runs well, but last time I was mowing forward motion ceased. It will travel in reverse, but it doesn't want to go forward anymore. It will sometimes go forward if you abruptly go from reverse to forward but generally no. The linkage is adjusted properly, fluid level is full. Something went bad in the trans, but I don't know where to start. And the prices of these replacement transmissions are well above the worth of the tractor. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thank You.
