I'm trying to re-use a very old set of Carlisle Ags but may end up having to buy a new pair - these are in worse shape than I thought. It's good to know what will fit ahead of time. BTW, if you're thinking about putting larger wheels on the front (you have 6" ones now, if my vision serves me), I recently learned a lesson that might be useful and save you some aggravation. To switch to 8" wheels and keep the tractor level, you'll need to change out the front spindles too... but in my case I have to change the tie rods also because the tie rod attachment "ear" is in a slightly different position on the shorter spindles for bigger wheels than the taller ones for 6" wheels. There's lots of guidance here on making changes like that. Personally, I think this tractor would look even more awesome with a pair of 8" Ags on the front also. The 42" Side Discharge deck for this model should be 05-42MS05, Rear discharge is 05-42MS04. Has 3 blades. If you're buying one that needs work, try to price out the parts before buying it. The blade spindles, shafts and pulleys for these can be rather pricey. I'd buy one that might need some welding on the shell but has good spindles, shafts and pulleys (unless you don't have a welder).
