Wasn't sure about going gear jammer or hydro-matics.  I'm partial to the gear select o matics, so here goes my attempt at being an engineer.  First pics will be painful but I swear itll get better. I didnt want to do it this way fellas but it had to be done in order to get on the gooder side.

Possibly,  i was just pondering that idea when I was outside with it a few moments ago.  First I'll have to figure out the best way to transfer the power from the kubota diesel to the transmission.

Do I mount it sideways and have it sticking out a little on the left hand side or front to back and add a 90 degree gearbox.  Meanwhile I found a brand new comet clutch in my tool box for another wheel horse project I've been wanting to do. Looks like I'll be busy in the garage this winter. The wife likes it because I'm usually in the house with cabin fever driving her nuts. I have multiple sources of heat now so I wont freeze, lol.

@Moonshine*Connoisseur  that first frame shot made me instantly think of  TV , TOMMY IVO , 4  ENGINE  DRAGSTER , seen that many times .  if anything ,would do over those  frame rails with  duplicate 3/8" thick angle steel , to ensure of no stress related failure . have a few pieces of that left, from work , absolutely  bombproof , you could build a house off of that stuff , good luck with your  plans , pete

@peter lena

I have the extra angle iron on standby. I'm stitching in an extra 14 inches of steering shaft to connect the shaft from the 312-8 to the 414-8. Then the angle iron will go on.

It will be convenient to use the original wheel horse fuel tank under the seat to feed the kubota powerplant.  I just have to plumb a small return line on the top of the tank.  I have the complete harness from the bx 2200.  The horses harness is pretty much toast so I will remove that and install the bx harness with little modification to the wiring. I also have the kubota dash that has the throttle lever mechanism which I will try to install into the horses dash.

I'm working on a family friends bad boy zero turn that has a pto shaft seal leak. Soon as I wrap that repair up then I can move this rolling frame into the garage where the kubota engine is and get some real progress done.

Wife came out to look at it, she likes it. She said if this goes good then she wants a purple mega horse for herself....I have the perfect engine for that but I'll keep you guys in suspense. Lol.
