Stormin 9,981 #1 Posted July 3, 2022 (edited) How not to park a MinI. He was supposed to turn right but was going a little to fast. Very wet forest road. Driver and navigator both OK. A few more photo's of the rally. Nearly off. He luckily just dropped the front wheels over the drop edge. We were able to man handle him out. Another mini went right over. Had to be winched out. No damage and continued on his way. Near thing. My mate Bob with the latest anti midge head wear. Edited July 3, 2022 by Stormin 4 3 1

ranger 1,750 #4 Posted July 3, 2022 There must be a lot of ‘rally’ drivers in my part of the woods Norm. That is a not ‘infrequent’ sight, usually on a Saturday morning. 🍺🍺. The strange thing I’ve noticed over the years is, as many cars end up in the fields on a dead straight piece of road, as on the bendy bits🤔
squonk 41,150 #5 Posted July 3, 2022 They used to televise rallys. In car camera you can hear the navigator yelling instructions and when they end up in the woods the yelling intensifies! 1
8ntruck 7,016 #6 Posted July 3, 2022 I used to crew on a SCCA ralley car. One of the standing jokes was that you were not a real ralley driver until you had rolled a car.
elcamino/wheelhorse 9,317 #7 Posted July 3, 2022 @Stormin Thanks for the photos , looks like the chaps from Top Gear were filming a segment. Why were you out in the wet ? You should be home working on the out door cooker for tomorrow's big Holiday celebration.

ranger 1,750 #12 Posted July 4, 2022 Nice pics Norm. Two health and safety 👮♂️issues I can see, #1- high vis jackets should be fastened at the front. #2- that red and white ‘Armco’ barrier in some of the pictures is not really heavy enough duty! 😂 Thanks for posting.
