Snoopy11 5,714 #106 Posted August 17, 2022 (edited) Wonder what speed you are pulling there? I know video makes our machines look slower than in real life. My 800 pulls 31 mph at 7 grand... via Garmin GPS... Pulls over 35 mph total with the pedal mashed in third gear... Videos don't seem to bring out the real speed in our fast machines. giddyap 1,569 #119 Posted August 30, 2022 @fast88pu your rug rat is so fine...I would build it exactly as you did, if I could. And that's my problem, I don't have the skills or talent found in this community. Besides you and others have given me a good excuse to go back to restorations, maybe one more and then just admire all the great Wheel Horses from my EZ chair. Keep up the good work 1 2

His son got in a motorcycle accident. After you see a photo of what really happens in a bad motorcycle accident... you never consider riding one. Body parts in different locations, guts hanging out... pretty gruesome... not worth it... Don

When you see a boot with a foot still in it 100 feet from the accident you'll change your tune fast. Edited August 30, 2022 by Jeff-C175 1

I haven't had one for perhaps 35 years or so. Lost quite a few friends to MC accidents. Helmets are called 'brain buckets'.
