I suspect there’s a few replacement parts for that engine that Kyle hasn’t shown us yet!:auto-dirtbike:

A foot is pretty much just as irreplaceable as the family jewels!

Truth...

You learn the hard way... through injuries, pain, blood, suffering... some things just aren't worth chancing... :snooty:

Pretty much, the whole left side of my body can back that up... torn up left hand, left leg/ankle, left eye... list goes on... :kbutt:

Don't get me started on the right side...

Don

Nice!

Is 6000 the expected rpm your gonna get for that engine?

That's the same throttle set up I did on a hot rod tractor.

Very nice.  I'm curious as to why you chose the gear reduction steering for this tractor.  I would think you'd want steering with less turns lock to lock.  I've seen a 520HC with the forward swept front axle and standard steering.

Because to make it less sensitive at higher speeds compared to the non gear reduction steering

:text-yeahthat:  makes sense for something expected to be speedy that has a short wheel base.

I used to have a CJ5.  That thing was really twitchy over 70MPH.

I thought that might be the case.  That will reduce roll over risk  Looks and drives like an old school hot rod, excellent!

The gear reduction steering took out the bump steer and jerkyness of the steering at speed.

Went out for the maiden voyage today, all I can say is it's faster then my other hot rod. But it's not quicker lol. It will not flip over backwards like the other one would. I'll just say it will keep up with traffic and pass if I want to on my back road.

With the low humidity and cooler temperatures I finally got a chance to clear all the sheet metal. I used papa patinas wipe on gloss clear coat. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to preserve the patina of their machine. It's very easy to apply with an applicator. It is not cheap though. Just over $100 for a quart with activator , but you do get what you pay for. Now for some eye candy, (tractor porn) lol

Yes they have semi gloss also. Would look nice on your old chevy in gloss to protect it.

What’s a slow moving vehicle sign worth?  20?  Plus or minus 100%?

Truth is... anyone on the road that sees you has to visit the gas station to clean themselves up and change their shorts after seeing a Wheel Horse tractor frickin' flying down the road... :P
