How universal is the push blade? There is an auction coming up in my area and it has a wheel horse push blade on it. I dont know if it would fit my B100. I was hoping you you kind people on here could tell me about how universal the wheel horse blades are and about how high I should bid it up to. Thank you.

Be sure the auction has ALL the pieces - you will need the clamp-on axle mount if you do not already have one. The wear edge  on the later polws is reversable - best scenario is it has a new edge - worst is both are worn down and needs to be replaced. Be sure all the mechanism to angle the plow is there - perhaps download the manual if you know the model number and familiarize yourself with all the pieces. I bought a used in very good condition 79350 48" complete setup about 5 years ago for $200 - wear edge had one good more year left in it...

:text-welcomeconfetti: to the :rs:

There are two different length plow frames.        The blades themselves are the same.        The plow frame attaches to the rear axle and requires the rear axle bracket.

I believe the B-100 is a short frame tractor and would require a short plow frame.       Plow frames with blade sell for around $150 in my area.    The axle bracket sells for $40.

And :text-welcomeconfetti:

In Michigan the frame and blade go for about $125-150…

If linkages (cable release and adjustment rod) aren’t all there then I’d go a bit less as you would need to fabricate/ add those.

If it's a V frame like this it's too short.

1960's Wheel Horse Model 953 1054 Lawn Garden Tractor 54" Snow Plow Blade

Frame like this should work.

Make sure it's similar to this one and not for a vertical engine tractor:

@cafoose   @roadapples @SylvanLakeWH @gwest_ca  @ri702bill @Ed Kennell Thank you to all that responded to my original decision! This blade was at the auction yesterday and here is what I came home with. I did come home with the blade but when I was looking at it it was missing the piece that went onto the tractor to make it go up and down. So I figured I would have to fabricate one. But then there was also a C-120 there which I said ah what the heck one more couldn't hurt and so I bought that for $90. (I got the blade for $40)  When I got it all unloaded and started to work on the C-120 I crawled under it and there the lift deal that went on the was. It was already mounted onto the C-120! How lucky was that? Again thank you to all that responded and pointed me in the right direction.0?ui=2&ik=a291cc121a&attid=0.1.1&permmsgid=msg-f:1737454834484897832&th=181cadf76ec1e828&view=fimg&fur=ip&sz=s0-l75-ft&attbid=ANGjdJ-_n1cKPm3s079hHrBRuMeE1RW9BpcrSkSe74nWY_EN7-2ocj93i_T1Wrp3UqiECxABzIfjI_fghU5ipTLpJ4pfXr1eLbRkiPrxJi4PBj4NqrHFjvimpZgCh-0&disp=emb
