c-series don 8,688 #1 Posted June 26, 2022 @Wild Bill in VA I know he’s not looking for any recognition here but let’s face it, he basically makes the show complete. Without Bill the parade would not be what it is. His knowledge of every tractor that comes past him in the parade is truly impressive. For many, including myself it’s kind of the pinnacle of being a proud Wheel Horse owner being in the parade and being interviewed by Bill. He truly makes everyone in that line of tractors feel special, regardless of what they are driving. Although I was not able to attend this year’s show I’ve only missed three since the start of it. I don’t believe anyone else can pull off wearing that pure white outfit and command ( not demand ) the respect that he and our tractors deserve. Honestly just wanted to say “Thank You Bill Pearson for making the Wheel Horse show great!” God bless you Bill ! 7 11 1
Pullstart 62,834 #2 Posted June 26, 2022 Friday night I was in line to shower real quick and he saw me and had to say Hi. He had virtually zero voice left. Saturday morning he was back at it on the microphone! Caiden his son is a real gentleman too. Bill’s not only the best Maestro, he’s a great father and family man! 1 4
Wild Bill in VA 1,452 #3 Posted June 26, 2022 Don , I did get the message that you said "Hi" if your friend saw me. The Annual Wheel Horse Show is a collective effort between a group of people and somehow I fit in. It is the people with their Wheel Horses that attend the show that makes it great and to me they should be thanked! I do Thank You Don for the kind words and look forward to seeing you and your family at the next show ........ the 25th Anniversary of the Annual Wheel Horse Show! 8 hours ago, c-series don said: For many, including myself it’s kind of the pinnacle of being a proud Wheel Horse owner being in the parade and being interviewed by Bill. 953 nut 55,189 #4 Posted June 26, 2022 (edited) For the past five or six years I have made a point of setting up right where Bill will be interviewing tractor drivers and dispensing a wealth of knowledge. While there Linda @Mrs. Rules and I take a bunch of pictures of the parade to post on Red Square. This year as @wallfish and the crew were setting up a shade tent for Bill he saw where we were awaiting the parade and had them move the tent in front of us. That is the type of guy he is, kind, considerate and one heck of a gentleman. His skills interviewing the children kind of reminds me of Art Linkletter. For those who are too young to remember him here is a sample. Edited June 26, 2022 by 953 nut 3
