Ted Wendel 0 #1 Posted July 6, 2009 I didn't know there are Wheel Horse web sites. My first horse was a 1965 Lawn Ranger, which I restored. Then a friend of mine got a 1988 312-8 with a 48" deck,he let me use it one time,it more than cut my grass cutting time in half,so on 10/18/1989 I got my new 1989 414-8 with a 48" deck(last year with Wheel Horse only on the decals) which I still have. I sold the Lawn Ranger (no room to keep it) I restored a, not sure what it was it looked just like my Lawn ranger, but it had clam shell rear fenders and 4.80 x 8 rear tires,it was free and didn't take much money,I sold it also.I used to restore Wheel Horses for Billy Pohlig of Pohlig's, he was a big Wheel Horse dealer in Mechanicsville VA. P.S. I also have about 20 attachments, wheel weights, front weight,Wheel Horse hubcaps,55 watt halogen head lights,a lot of Chrome button head allen bolts,a stainless steel muffler shield from a 520?Dico tires like on the newer Toro Wheel Horses.
