LoL That new stuff is so pussified now you could probably empty the can trying to blow one up and couldn't do it. Old school stuff would take just a small quick puff or two. Just pack a tank for acetylene!

Pullstart 62,829 #31 Posted June 22, 2022 And Waffle House! None around us in MI, so they are a staple on road trips Just finishing up the last tire. They put high pressure valve stems in it, the old ones were only 50 psi rated!

Pullstart 62,829 #44 Posted June 26, 2022 Mrs. P is working on her megga load of show pics and videos. We slept on the turnpike near Freedom, OH last night and we’re ready to rock! Norman’s fluid levels are in perfect working order, a road trip first! He used to use a little oil on big pulls and would blow coolant out of the tank too. I have chalked that up to turbo pressure blowing past the injector cups and blowing coolant out of the tank. New injectors and cups have helped a lot of things!
JoeM 7,871 #45 Posted June 26, 2022 When those tire get low the heat just peels the rubber off. Don't ask why I know that!
stevebo-(Moderator) 8,330 #46 Posted June 26, 2022 Kev- We had a little coolant issue otw home as well. Coolant hose going to turbo had a pin hole so we had to limp to the parts store and replace them back on the road and we were fine. Drive safe.
JoeM 7,871 #47 Posted June 26, 2022 (edited) I had a close call on 68 three lanes. Someone in a white car was running up the slow lane dodging in and out of traffic. I started to move over to go around a car and I looked in the mirror and it was clear started to move over and they zipped across next to me. Had to do a little Joey Chitwood driving. The trailer whipped around a bit. I told TJ I looked and did not see anyone, and that is when TJ told me about the guy crossing two lanes. And the guy continued out ahead running at least 90 doing the same thing. I suppose he was "that person" Oh......and my favorite is the one where someone will come around you, cuts in close, then brake checks ya! But we made it okay and TJ got his second wind, and we went night swimming. I feel like a Pinata today. Just one cool thing to see on the way home. https://www.researchgate.net/figure/Sideling-Hill-Maryland-looking-northeastwardly-from-the-western-end-of-the_fig3_341736634 Edited June 26, 2022 by JoeM

We see it several times a year in all seasons. I think that winter with all the ice cascading down is the most beautiful. Route 68 has some really crazy drivers. You can't relax during that part of your drive.
